Writer's Village in the Himalayas

( A Creative Haven for Storytellers and Dreamers )

The Himalayas have been a source of continuous consciousness and miraculous accomplishments for mankind for centuries. Its intellectual, spiritual, and natural uniqueness has always attracted scholars and seekers from around the world. From its religious sites, temples, sculpture and architecture, inscriptions, coins, cave paintings, monuments, monasteries, tombs, metallurgy, to yoga, Ayurveda, archaeological discoveries, biodiversity, human convergence, and the knowledge and science of all these — the Himalayas offer something unique and unparalleled. This rich heritage of the Himalayas makes it nature’s extraordinary and remarkable gift.

The knowledge and science of the Himalayas have been a subject of curiosity since ancient times. It is the extraordinary physical, divine, and spiritual knowledge of the Himalayas that brought this country global excellence. It is in the valleys of the Himalayas where the wisdom of the Vedas, Puranas, and scriptures blossomed. Literature and arts flourished. The knowledge and science of the Himalayas expanded the heritage of sages and seers. Ascetics and brilliant minds emerged. Ayurveda was developed, Aryan culture flourished, mantras were created through contemplation, and India’s path to becoming a world teacher was paved. The knowledge of the Himalayas has blessed not just the nation but the entire world. Nowhere else can one find a more fertile mental environment for ultimate creativity. With its healthy, beautiful, and serene atmosphere, the Himalayas have always been a source of inspiration and energy, providing the experience of ultimate knowledge, bliss, and vastness by integrating with nature.

The Vedas, Upanishads, mythological texts, epics, Nath Siddha literature, and countless other religious and literary creations owe their origin to the Himalayas. In modern times, Swami Vivekananda also referenced the Himalayas as a place for spiritual practice and creation. He wrote that the Himalayas are a delightful experience for spiritual seekers, considering them a source of meditation and spiritual peace. The Himalayas are home to Shiva, who drinks the poison of adversities for the welfare of the world and brings the Ganga to Earth for global prosperity. The Himalayas embody truth, divinity, and beauty. To experience and study this knowledge and science of “Satyam Shivam Sundaram,” an extraordinary writer’s village is being established under the Sparsh Himalaya campaign of the Himalayan University.

This writer’s village will provide a unique, extraordinary, and heavenly experience to the world by enabling individuals to feel and absorb the energy of the Himalayas. It will offer insights into the Himalayas’ spiritual power, faith, Ayurveda, beauty, prosperity, knowledge, science, meditation, yoga, mysteries, thrills, culture, devotion, creation, and craftsmanship. This village will embody the spiritual knowledge, cultural richness, arts, life values, and philosophies bestowed by the Vedas, Puranas, Upanishads, and sages of the Himalayas, serving humanity and the world at large with its unparalleled energy and inspiration.

In the writer’s village, authors will study and reflect on the power of the Himalayas for human welfare, writing and gaining the energy to spread it across the world. This village is being established to foster curiosity worldwide for the welfare of humanity. It will serve as a center for the meditation of word power. This will be a significant hub for intellectuals, writers, thinkers, and organizations devoted to society and humanity’s welfare.

People from across the country and the world will come to this village, rest for a while, and return to their lives with new energy and an extraordinary experience. They will use this experience for humanity’s welfare by joining the Sparsh Himalaya mission.
