Be a Part of India’s First Writer Village Library

( Join us in shaping a literary legacy in Thano, Dehradun )

Join us in the establishment of the country’s first Writer Village Library in Thano, Dehradun.

On October 25th, the country’s first Writer Village was inaugurated by the former President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, in the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Governor of Uttarakhand, Chief Minister, spiritual leaders Mahamandaleshwar Avdeshanand Ji, Chidanand Muni Ji, and Yoga Acharya Balkrishna Ji.

The inauguration also marked the celebration of the International Literature, Culture, and Arts Festival 2024, which welcomed the Hon’ble Minister of Tourism and Culture, Shri Gajendra Shekhawat, noted lyricist Prasoon Joshi, Padma Vibhushan awardees, Rajya Sabha MPs, and the celebrated dancer Sonal Mansingh, alongside 42 distinguished authors and literary figures from across the world.

A grand library, inspired by the legendary Nalanda Library, is now being built in this writer village. We warmly invite you to donate books and become a part of this historic and cultural revolution.

Your contribution is not just appreciated—it’s a part of history in the making.
